Cris produced and recorded this song. When he sent it to me, I immediately fell in love with it. I told him the only problem was that I wasn't playing drums on it. I recorded the drum tracks and sent it to him the next week. Since this was a tribute to Dave, I thought it would be cool to have his voice actually on the song. I found a recording of Dave speaking from the stage at a Lordchain concert from 2001. I sent it to Cris and he put a line from it at the end of the song. I chose to release this on the one-year anniversary of Dave's passing. I thought it was appropriate. We hope you enjoy this as we celebrate the life of this awesome friend, bandmate and brother. - Kelly Matthews
